Triangledex
Triangledex is a bus stop designed for post-industrial cities. The form is based on deconstructivist aesthetics, and the stable triangle is reshaped through nonlinear modeling. Frosted stainless steel forms the main structure, while transparent solar panels above the ceiling supply energy without reducing light. The interactive interface uses a main screen for route and platform information and a second screen for time, weather and expected full load rate. The blue interface tone keeps the displayed data clear and easy to read.
Triangledex Bus Stop by Wenkai Xue has been highlighted as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Triangledex Bus Stop won the Silver A' Design Award in Street Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Street and City Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates outstanding design of benches, bollards, bus shelters, bicycle racks, litter bins, planters, signage, lighting fixtures and more.
