Pei-Ying Lee, the architect of the award winning work Artistic Cultures and Innovations - Public space by Pei-Ying Lee explicates, The large components of installation arts have become the main subject that connects the different spatial areas. When walking in to the reception lobby at the entranceway, people shall see a large wood carving, called “homing birds,” that is installed at the middle of the back wall. This wood carving, with features of the sophisticate lines seen from the roots of tweak, and of the tangling coral, the artwork which creates the imagination of birds flying back home, and brings out a symbol presenting people coming back their residences in comfortable emotion..
